Gilberto Bonetto - Gilberto created the JazSet project with Edoardo Luparello.

Born on 25 June 1980 he is a pianist and a composer. Following his high school

diploma he obtained his piano degree at the conservatory G. Verdi in Turin. He then

went on to perfect his studies of chamber music and composition at the Corelli

Institute in Pinerolo and at Turin’s conservatory. At the Corelli Institute he also

obtained his degree in music therapy. In 2012 he graduated as a jazz player with full

marks and honors at the conservatory Ghedini in Cuneo, under pianist Riccardo

Zegna.

As a pianist he has worked at the Teatro Regio in Turin, and has played in the

BigBand “Mellowtone Orchestra” conducted by Riccado Zegna; in 2010 her

recorded a live performance for Rai Radio Uno. In 2011 he opened the concerts for

Winton Maralis & Lincoln Center Orchestra, Incognito, New York Ska Jazz

Ensemble, Almamegretta, Roy Paci & Aretuska, Giuliano Palma; he played with

trumpet player Fanrizio Bosso for “CasaSanremo 2011”. In 2012 her performed in

Kampala (Uganda) within the concert “ITALIANI NEL MONDO” organized by the

Italian embassy. As a composer he has created soundtracks and background music

for TV ads, and various events.

Edoardo Luparello - - Edoardo was born in 1991. He began studying drums in

1998 under Giuseppe Di Masi, followed – while continuing his high school studies at

the Liceo Musicale E. Bianchi in Cuneo – by 4 years of study under Giorgio

Gandino (2005-2009 Percstudio), at the Berklee School “Summer Clinics” (2007)

and in workshops at Siena Jazz (2009 and 2010). On such occasions, besides

mastering musical notions and technical skills with the most qualified drummers, he

had the chance to study and perform with Avishai Cohen, Eric Harland, JohnTaylor,

Omer Avital, Pietro Tonolo. From 2011 to 2014 he attended the “Civica scuola di

Jazz di Milano”, studying under Tony Arco, Enrico Intra, Franco Cerri. In 2005 he

won the competition “GTT-prossima fermata il successo”, in 2010 he reached

second place at the International percussion competition “Concorso Internazionale

delle Percussioni” under the category “Drumset B”, in 2011 he won a scholarship

offered by “Nuoro Jazz”. In 2013 he released an interview for magazine “Drumset”.

He works with several musicians from Turin and has played in many ensembles

holding concerts in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and the Czech Republic. He has

self-taught musical production technologies. He is co-producer of the pop project

“Tuesday Project” and is active with several other productions of pop and rock

music for “Easy Music”.   

 

Francesco Bertone - He graduated in double bass in '91. His interest in all kinds of

music leads him to study also electric bass, following seminars with Mark Harris, Ares

Tavolazzi and Franco d'Andrea.

In 1984 he co-founder of the Loscomobile lab-group that produces hundreds of

concerts and two discs; to mark the opening of the Manu Chao concert (Cuneo 2012),

Modena City Ramblers (Moncalieri 2014) and PFM (Cuneo 2015). From 1989 to 1995

he was bassist in the  band of the singer Gian Maria Testa and participated in the

production of his first cd “Montgolfieres” for the label Label Bleu.

From 1991 to 1994 he collaborated with the Orchestra of Savona - symphony, lyric and

chamber - participating in the incision of works and recitals. He also collaborates with

the Bruni Orchestra, Ghedini, the Ensemble Antidogma and Camerata Casella. He has

released two solo albums: "Artitmiaritmetica" and "Footprints"
